Accident life insurance can either be bought individually, or might even be held by the company you work for. Most companies will have such a policy if their employees have a high risk job, or travel a lot. Even if your company does have it, you should still understand why you should have it added to your own personal life insurance policy as well.

If you ever get hurt on the job, and your company has accident life insurance, you will get a fixed amount of money for ever day you are in the hospital. And if you are still unable to return to work, you will be paid a fixed amount of money to be on disability.
